Daniel has over 20 years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, product management, technical sales and partner management working for companies like Netscape, IONA, Forté Software, ILOG, iPlanet and most recently Sun Microsystems focusing on different fields including Enterprise Software Architecture, Solution Design, Integration/Interop, SOA, Enterprise Portals, Operating system/data centers as well as Security and Identity. Daniel has an extensive breadth and depth in IT Architecture and Security/IDA covering many enterprise platforms and technologies. Daniel is a professional speaker, board member and organizer for events & conferences. Daniel holds a first class MBA in Computer Science. In his current role as a CATM Enterprise Technology Architect, he is the EPG lead for Security&Identity in EMEA, leading field readiness, partner solutions and competitive efforts in EMEA. Daniel works closely with customers, partners as well as the corporate product groups.

This session will cover the new version of IAG called the “Unified Access Gateway” and outline how UAG can be used as a central Remote Access Gateway solution supporting Direct Access, Federation and Single Sign On.

Federation allows easy integration of internal and external services through simple configuration, without having to invest in large integration projects.
